Eye Doctors Honolulu
The team of eye doctors at Eye Center of Hawaii give the Honolulu areas a wide range of eye care services in which we have state-of-the-art technology and years of experience so you get the best eye care service. Our eye care services include:
LASIK Eye Surgery is a procedure where the cornea is reshaped with laser technology. LASIK has the potential to correct refractive errors such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. It also can reduce your dependency on contact lenses and eyeglasses. However, not everyone who wants LASIK may be right for it. To find out if LASIK is right for you, take our LASIK self-test today!
Cataracts often develop due to aging, although they can also occur at birth or due to uncontrolled diabetes, an eye injury, or over-exposure to the sun. The best way to treat cataracts is through cataract surgery, where the eye’s natural lens is replaced with an artificial one, called an intraocular lens (IOL). Alongside traditional cataract surgery, we also offer laser cataract surgery! To find out if Cataract Surgery is right for you, take our Cataract self-test today!
Glaucoma is sometimes called “the silent thief of sight” since it shows no symptoms until severe damage has been done. Unfortunately, the damage done by glaucoma cannot be reversed, but it can be prevented or slowed down if treated early. The best way to prevent glaucoma is by scheduling routine eye exams to ensure you’re not developing glaucoma.
We offer treatment and prevention options for a variety of retina conditions. These conditions include flashes and floaters, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration (AMD), detached and torn retina, and birdshot retinochoroidopathy (BR). If you think you may be suffering from one or more of these retina conditions, please contact us today!
It’s imperative to schedule routine eye exams to ensure your eyes are healthy. Some eye conditions develop without any noticeable symptoms; some may only show symptoms after severe irreversible damage has been done. So regardless of not if you’ve noticed any changes in your vision recently, schedule your routine eye exam today!
Eye Center of Hawaii offers a comprehensive optical shop to help you find the best eyeglasses or contact lenses for you! Our opticians are trained to help you find exactly the right style to work alongside your prescription. We will also happily adjust and tight your glasses and replace nose pads and screws for free! Anytime you need it, we’ll happily adjust your eyeglasses for free!

🌑✨ We're gearing up for an awe-inspiring celestial event - we can view a partial solar eclipse across the islands on April 8th! While it's a rare and exciting moment, it's crucial to protect your eyes. Looking directly at the sun, even during an eclipse, can cause permanent eye damage. Use eclipse glasses that meet the ISO 12312-2 international safety standard, consider pinhole projectors as an alternative method for indirect viewing, and remember, regular sunglasses don’t offer sufficient protection against the sun’s rays during an eclipse. 🌌🔭 #SolarEclipse2024 #EyeSafety #EclipseGlasses #ProtectYourEyes #AstronomicalEvent #BennettEyeInstitute #LoveLife ...
